What it needs
A company picked from the 48,479 listed or 18.7 million private companies in the database, or a set of accounts keyed in by hand or from a spreadsheet.
What it returns
A normalised set of accounts, line by line, attached to the company and reused as is by performance, valuation and export. Several companies can be held in parallel.
How it is computed
Balance sheet and income statement lines are recognised then matched against the existing company record. An unrecognised line is flagged rather than guessed: a figure invented at import contaminates everything downstream.
