What this deal database contains
Every deal brings together the parties (buyer, target, seller, with their country and, when listed, their ticker), the timeline (announcement, expected closing, effective closing), the structure (deal type, stake acquired, form of consideration), the valuation (deal value, equity value, net debt, premium to market) and the exit multiples (EV/revenue, EV/EBITDA, EV/EBIT, P/E).
Amounts are expressed in euros, from values published in EUR million at source. A figure the deal did not publish is never replaced by an estimate: the corresponding line simply disappears from the record. 2,983 deals out of 3,959 carry a deal value.
